I am very much a hands on planner who's not afraid to get dirty to give my clients what they are looking for. I love my work and seeing client's dreams become a reality. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending my free time with my family. I'm a mother of two and I have been married to my husband for over twenty years. My hobbies include gardening, singing and writing romance novels. I love hanging out with my friends and having fun playing on the tennis court, although I'm not a very good tennis player. Beth Barbee, Photographer & Event Specialist

I am a mother of 2 boys, both are serving in the military, one is in the Army and is in Iraq and the other is in the Air Force and is in Texas. I have been married for 23 years to my highschool sweetheart. I play the piano for our church. I am a published author and have been doing photography for many years. I am a member of the International Society of Photographers and have won their annual Outstanding Achievement Award for 2008. I have organized two major events called Operation Recognition, which honors WWII, Korean and Vietnam Vets. I enjoy camping with my husband and the boys when they are in town. I have 2 beagles named Stick and Twiggy (long story about their names). I look forward to working with you.

Danielle Barnett, Event Specialist

Mother of one, soon to be stepmother of two, engaged to a wonderful man; my family is my life. Like all Moms, I'm always on the go. When I do get a free moment, I'm either reading, writing music, or enjoying the outdoors. I volunteer at my local church, as well as several international ministry groups, and have an amateur interest in the pastry world.

I am currently a student at UNC Chapel Hill pursuing a double major in Business and Political Science. I'm definitely a perfectionist, which is sometimes a good thing and sometimes not such a great thing. In my free time I love singing, volunteering with my youth group, and reading good books. I also love hanging out with my family whenever I'm home for breaks and weekends. I am excited to be interning with Southern Rose Events and I look forward to working with you!
